Statement of Faith
- We Believe
The Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written Word of God. - We Believe
That there is only One God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son & God the Holy Spirit. - We Believe
In the blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ, at His return. - We Believe
That the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious Blood of Jesus Christ. - We Believe
That regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation. - We Believe
That the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer. - We Believe
That the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it. - We Believe
In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life in the present world.

Meet Our Leadership
Pastor Alex & First Lady Tralayne Davis
Building on the foundation and continuing the legacy of Pastor Alfred and Mother Mary Davis, Alex and Tralayne became the leaders of Eastside Assembly of Believers in 2015.
Born and raised in Tacoma, WA, both Alex and Tralayne are passionately committed to living out God’s Word and plan to the fullest. They have dedicated their ministry and professional lives to love with action by fulfilling Jesus’ instructions in Mark 25:35-36.
Alex Davis is the founder and CEO of iChallenge Life: a tool to move people from being challenged by life to challenging life. His is also the visionary and lead servant of Kings in Training (K.I.T.): a community wide mentorship program for young men ages 5-18. He currently serves a board member for the Franklin Pierce School District.
Tralayne Davis is the founder and CEO of James Matthews Commission (JMC): a thriving social purpose business supporting 24-hour emergency foster care placement and supervised visitation services for children displaced from their families. Alex and Tralayne are the proud parents of three beautiful children: Ariana, Chris, and Brianna.
